The Sensex and Nifty surged nearly 2% in late
trade following rebound in European markets and the Indian rupee. Banking &
financials, oil & gas, telecom and metals stocks led the rally. France's
CAC and Britain's FTSE climbed over 1% while Germany's DAX rose 0.6%@38.32 pts
amid Greece concerns and weak economic data across Eurozone.
