Sensex closed up 94.94 pts @19486.80; Nifty closed up 30.40 pts @5930.90. The Sensex recovered early losses on Thursday, rising for the third day, after Mayawati decided to support FDI in multi-brand retail in Rajya Sabha. Nifty gainers include Jaiprakash Associates, DLF, Axis Bank, Reliance Infra and Tata Motors, gained 2-4 %.
