Sensex dropped 40.56@18,877.96; Nifty dropped 21.20pts@5,698.50. Today market was extremely volatile fell on to close near 3-month lows, as global risk aversion sparked broad-based selling in metals and cement stocks & domestic blue chips, including in LNT. DLF & Reliance Infra down 3.4 % each also dragged the indices during the day.
